Aislinn has unfortunately attracted the attention of a fairy king, and although he wants her for his queen, she is determined to keep her mortal life.

Aislinn is a pretty normal teenager. She’s lived with her grandmother since her mom died, and she’s got a really cute best friend who might be interested in being her boyfriend. But she doesn’t have time to contemplate a relationship with him once a fairy king starts stalking her.
As long as she can remember, Aislinn has been able to see fairies, and they’re not as happy and sparkley as you might imagine. The fairies Aislinn sees are cruel, violent, and scary. Her grandmother gave her three rules for survival: don’t stare at them, don’t speak to them, and don’t ever attract their attention. Now that these rules aren’t keeping her safe anymore, Aislinn has to come up with her own rules in order to keep her freedom.

Gwen unexpectedly discovers she can time travel, against her will and into unknown times. Obviously, this is quite a shock.

Gwyneth Shepherd’s beautiful, sophisticated, popular cousin Charlotte has been prepared her entire life for time travel, and of course doted on my her entire extended family. The strange gene skipped Gwen, supposedly. So she is completely unprepared when instead of Charlotte, Gwyneth is suddenly thrust backwards in time! Gwen must adjust to wearing old clothes, using archaic manners, and traveling with Gideon, her appointed companion. He’s totally obnoxious, and maybe the cutest guy she’s seen in any century. Stay tuned for the next two books in the series!

Frodo: “I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.”
Gandalf: “So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring, in which case you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought.”
